The checks
A check is a fixed price and a booked ramp time, and it ends with the fault named in writing. If you have the work done here, the price of the check comes off the bill — so when we are right, finding out cost you nothing.

1 · The check
Your ramp time, at the price above. Measurements, scanner data and a road test where it helps. You get the sheet with the numbers on it whatever you decide afterwards.
2 · The parts
We price the part three ways where a choice exists: original, a brand we trust, and a sound used part. The quote shows all three, and what we would fit to our own car.
3 · The number
One figure for parts and labour with the hours written against each line, and the price of the check taken off. It is good for fourteen days and it does not move unless we telephone you and you agree.
4 · The old parts
Everything that came off the car, bagged with your registration on it, on the bench when you collect. A battery is the exception: the shop pays a core refund and we pass it to you.
